                This is just ONE of the trees around the farm that are home to hundreds of birds

You may think you would hear a screeching from this beak.....but these guys said "walla, walla, walla" in a very low tone.  It was a really funny, Jim-Henson-type sound.

This guy was just a natural poser.

Here's one with two chicks in the nest.  (The one on the bottom right looks like me first thing in the morning!!)

This mother tending to her two white puff ball chicks is just too precious.

This mother got here much earlier.  Her chicks are cranky, noisy, misbehaving 'teenagers'.

  This guy, a vulture came to me and said, "So, you seen enough already?"

                       "Then      GO  HOME  HOOMAN!!!!"

We have left the realm of photography

Noticing some changes in the north pole, the Ice Queen is not happy.

I'm beginning to see the light.

Busy, busy, busy

I have been attempting a very intense education in my development software.
It keeps me busy.  It keeps me up at night.  I wake up photoshopping.  I think I even dream I'm doing it.

So only one picture today.
This little guy will keep an eye on things while I'm away.

 I think of Daisy in "The Great Gatsby" when I see the above pic.

 A rose probably owned by Janis Joplin in the 60's

 Way too romantic.....but there is some mystery and warmth here that is kinda mesmerizing.

These last two are multiple photographs, and I swear only photographs.  The bottom one was obviously developed in LSD.
But I really like it!!

Here's a round up of pictures from the Ranch shoot.
They are not great photos, but you get more of an idea of the trip around the ranch.

This is an impressive amount of hornage
